Vague whispers of the past beckon to me.
Luring me in, away from him.
The darkness consumes the whole world, hiding the secrets.
Talking to you in my mind, but only so.

She's there, motionless, waiting and numb.
Without you, her world shatters.
It's me again, be a good man and do your duties.
Find her in the darkness and save her.

I need your arms around me, so when I lose my way I am found.
At the moment I'm lonely, waiting for that killer time.
Finding my feet and picking up the pieces.
All Over. Broken again.

She knows what you've been told, but defy it.
Live your dreams and help the girl! Set her free!!
She won't come to you, you know she won't.
This will encourage her.

I'm sorry for making this hard.
I don't mean to, self indulgence is all around us.
